Move over Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, London, and Paris. There’s a new city on the global real estate radar, and its appeal isn’t going anywhere. For the second consecutive year, Miami was included in Christie’s International Real Estate report, an annual report that highlights the top ten luxury properties in the world. Miami luxury homes are particularly notable because you can expect to get far more for your money compared to luxury real estate available in those other cities on the list. Not only are the amenities in Miami condominiums pretty spectacular, but buyers can expect to pay quite a bit less per square foot.
We have to admit that we are pretty big fans of our international sister cities. Regardless, we know that Miami offers a few things that those cities just don’t have. The year-round sunshine, beautiful beaches, and lack of state income taxes are a few examples. And, our location can’t be beat. In addition to miles of coastline in both directions, we’re just a hop skip and a jump from the many lovely Florida Keys. Plus, Miami properties aren’t just more affordable for luxury shoppers; the overall standard of living in Miami is far more welcoming to individuals of all socioeconomic backgrounds.
As we said, we really like all of those other cities, but good gracious they are all so unbelievably expensive. In Miami you can rent a pretty nice apartment at the beach for $1,200 per month and can easily find a tasty Cuban breakfast for less than $5. Miami is already a multi-cultural melting pot and that is due, in part, to its affordability for all. There really is something for everyone here.
People from around the world certainly seem to agree with us because we have seen more and more foreigners purchasing Miami real estate, especially Miami Beach property. In addition, people from the Midwest and Northeast sections of the U.S. are coming to Miami in droves. There aren’t many destination cities in the U.S. where someone can buy a reasonably priced piece of property minutes from awesome beaches, as well as amazing restaurants and other fun activities. Miami is a tropical, cosmopolitan paradise. Join us!
