We’ve mentioned before that one of the many awesome things about Miami is its plethora of events and festivals throughout the year. One of these fun events occurs this Sunday. Every Memorial Day weekend, the best city in the country (Miami of course) hosts the best acts in Reggae, Hip-Hop, Dancehall and Soca. The concert is aptly named the Best of the Best Concert. This year it will take place on May 25th at the amphitheater in Bayfront Park, located in Downtown Miami.
Obviously, Memorial Day weekend is prime time for picnics and barbecues, and it is meant for us to remember and honor the men and women who serve or served in the United States Armed Forces. At RE/MAX Paradise, we like to honor our service men and women all year long by offering a special veterans rebate. Because of the significance of the holiday this weekend, there should be lots of events taking place. For example, Rock the Yacht, Miami Madness, Miami Nice, and a comedy festival are a few of the scheduled events. If you google “miami memorial day weekend events” all sorts of fun things pop up.
We just wanted to point out this particular concert because it highlights the unique culture and diversity of our international yet clearly American city. The Miami community embraces and celebrates its multicultural nature, which in itself is core to the American spirit.
