Retired Army Sgt. Dominic Perrottee III and his family had even more to be thankful for this holiday season during Thursday’s Rose Parade honoring American heroes, when they were awarded a brand new, mortgage-free home as thanks for his service. Perrottee served nine years in the Army and was badly injured in a roadside bombing during one of his multiple tours in Iraq, financially impacting him and his wife and children. Wells Fargo and the Military Warriors Support Foundation were moved by his story of patriotism and decided to award the family with this home at the conclusion of the parade, which honors veterans annually for their service to our country. It seemed the perfect place to honor Sgt. Perrotte, as senior executive vice president for Well Fargo Tim Sloan said, “I cannot think of a better way to begin the year than by celebrating the inspiring story of Sgt. Perrotte, and honoring the sacrifices made by him and his family for our country.”
Providing aid to veterans who often return home after being injured overseas is a cause close to many Americans hearts, so it is good to know help is being offered to those in need. Here at RE/MAX Paradise we are proud to say that we participate in the Veterans First Reward Program, which works to provide various benefits and incentives such as the Veterans Real Estate Rebate to veterans thinking about buying or selling a home. Membership is free and available to veterans across the nation and is one of the most successful programs provided exclusively to veterans. The holidays are a time for giving thanks, and the Veterans First Reward is our way of thanking our service men and women whom do so much to protect our country. If you would like to know more about this or any of our other services offered, feel free to contact a RE/MAX agent today.
